What sets the Long Island Fencers' Club apart is its unwavering dedication to providing accessible and inclusive programming for athletes of all backgrounds and skill levels. The Long Island Fencers' Club provides each student with a complete fencing uniform and equipment for the duration of the camp. Campers are not required to purchase additional equipment. Students must wear T-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, and long socks to camp and have a water bottle.
During our lunch break, students are encouraged to engage with each other through checkers and chess games, further stimulating intellectual growth. Students are required to bring snacks, drinks, and lunches each day to camp.
Novice and experienced campers ages six to seventeen can join our Summer Camp programs. Campers are grouped by age and/or ability to provide each attendee with the best learning experience.
Summer Camps are $450 per week, not including before or aftercare. Each week of camp is separate and not predicated on a prior camp. The Olympic Sport of Fencing offers Epee, Foil, and Sabre disciplines. During the first week of attendance, campers new to the sport are introduced to Foil. If they choose to attend subsequent camps, they receive instruction on the second weapon of their choice.
