Cancer touches every corner of our community. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or a teammate, many of us have witnessed the arduous journey that comes with a cancer diagnosis. At the Long Island Fencers' Club, we believe that no one should face this fight alone. That’s why we are launching the No One Fights Alone Cancer Initiative: a community-driven campaign dedicated to supporting those battling cancer and their loved ones.
The purpose of the No One Fights Alone Cancer Initiative is to raise awareness, provide support, and foster hope for those affected by cancer within our fencing family and the wider Long Island community. Our goal is to unite members, families, and neighbors in meaningful action because together, we can make a real difference.
Our initiative thrives on community involvement! Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, from washing cars and setting up events to welcoming guests and supporting our fencing classes. No experience is necessary, just a big heart and a helping hand.
We are also proud to introduce the Cancer Ambassador role. Ambassadors will serve as liaisons, sharing stories of hope, coordinating outreach, and helping to shape the direction of our initiative. If you’re passionate about making a difference and inspiring others, we encourage you to take the next step!
The fight against cancer is a journey best traveled together. We invite all Long Island Fencers’ Club members, families, and community friends to participate, volunteer, and spread the word. Every hand helps. Every story matters. Every dollar raised and every moment shared brings us closer to a world where no one fights alone.
For more information, to sign up as a volunteer or Cancer Ambassador, or to register for the free fencing class, please contact us at info@longislandfencersclub.com.
Let’s unite, support, and inspire, because together, we are stronger.
