This site is owned and operated by the Long Island Sabre Raptors; as doing business as the Long Island Epee Bandits, the Long Island Foil Hornets and the Long Island Fencers Club. 

It our goal to provide a safe and secure internet experience for our fencing club membership. The Long Island Fencers Club will NOT divulge and/or share your personal information unless ordered to do so by a recognized and verified legal authority.

SUBSCRIBER ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Members of the Long Island Fencers Club whom are 18 years of age or old and/or their parents may elect to create a “Subscriber Account”. Users may elect to remove themselves from our “Subscriber Account" at any time without reprisal. 

WEB SITE MONITORING

The Long Island Fencers Club monitors web site traffic patterns to determine the usability, flow and functionality of our web site payout. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it. Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

POLLING AND SURVEYS

The Long Island Fencers Club may conduct anonymous polls and/or surveys to receive honest feedback on our performance and/or that of a fencing related product. To this end, the Long Island Fencers’ Club reserves the right to limit repetitive voting by tagging (restricting) those individuals voluntarily participating. The tagging does NOT collected, stored, and/or include the member’s personal information for any other purpose than to validate the process.

INTERNET SECURITY

The Long Island Fencers Club is protected by an (SSL) Secure Socket Layer, which is utilized by banking institutions for the protection of your personal information. 

COOKIES

The Long Island Fencers Club may offer a “Cookie” upon your visit. Cookies are a convenient way to carry information between sessions. Cookies are small bites of information stored on a member’s computer thus delivering a page tailored to our member.
