LONG ISLAND FENCERS CLUB DONOR WALL

The Long Island Fencers’ Club extends its deepest gratitude to all supporters, donors, families, and educators who have contributed to our vibrant community. Your generosity and commitment have been instrumental in transforming our club into a beacon of opportunity, sportsmanship, and learning for fencers of all backgrounds. We are privileged to serve a growing community, and we remain dedicated to honoring your trust through our ongoing efforts to promote excellence and inclusivity in fencing.

The Long Island Fencers’ Club has experienced remarkable growth, welcoming new members from across Nassau and Suffolk Counties and beyond. This expansion has enabled us to introduce new, affordable programs that make fencing accessible to families from all walks of life. Through flexible scheduling, sliding-scale fees, and outreach initiatives, we have lowered barriers to entry, ensuring that the thrill and discipline of fencing are within reach for more youth and adults than ever before.

Our club is proud to offer innovative training opportunities that set us apart in the region. In addition to traditional fencing instruction, we have developed specialized programs that emphasize both technical skill and personal growth. Our mentorship tracks provide novice fencers with one-on-one guidance from experienced athletes, while our coach development workshops help aspiring instructors refine their teaching skills in a supportive setting. These programs not only enhance performance but also foster a sense of belonging and achievement at every level.

The Long Island Fencers’ Club values collaboration as a cornerstone of our mission. We are especially proud of our ongoing partnership with the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, where we work together to deliver tailored fencing experiences that support deaf and hard-of-hearing students. In addition, our relationships with local school districts, libraries, and community centers have allowed us to reach a broader audience, bringing the art and sport of fencing to new venues and participants throughout Long Island.

Inclusivity lies at the heart of everything we do. Our instructors are trained in American Sign Language (ASL) and are committed to creating a judgment-free zone where every participant feels welcome. We believe that fencing can empower individuals of all abilities, and we strive to remove communication barriers and encourage mutual respect on and off the strip. Whether through accessible instruction, adaptive equipment, or culturally responsive programming, our club champions diversity and equal opportunity.

Founded by a dedicated group of athletes and educators, the Long Island Fencers’ Club operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since our inception, we have remained committed to serving the community’s needs, guided by the principles of integrity, sportsmanship, and lifelong learning. As an official member club of USA Fencing, we uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism, providing a trusted environment for students, families, and coaches alike.

We warmly invite educators from across Long Island to join us in our mission. Whether you are interested in integrating fencing into your school’s physical education curriculum, volunteering as a coach, or exploring new ways to support youth development, there is a place for you at the Long Island Fencers’ Club. Please reach out to us to learn more about partnership opportunities and how you can help shape the next generation of fencers.

Thank you once again to our supporters, families, and community partners for believing in the power of fencing to unite, inspire, and transform. As we look to the future, we reaffirm our commitment to providing inclusive, professional instruction and fostering a club environment where every member can thrive. Together, we are building not just champions on the strip, but leaders for life.
