The Long Island Fencers Club introduces our "Fencers' Care Initiative." Each of us can perform a little magic without swallowing a sword! Donating your old fencing equipment can help give the gift of fencing to others while enjoying a tax benefit. The “Fencers’ Care Initiative” is a need-based program teaching the Olympic Sport of Fencing to children from 6 to 17. A simple gift will help make a difference and leave a lasting impression on a needy child.
The Fencers’ Care Initiative is open to monetary contributions as well. Personal Checks are made payable to the Long Island Fencers Club. Please enter Fencers Care Initiative in the memo section to ensure your donation hits its target!
Fencing equipment donations may be dropped off during our club hours. For those not living local to our club location but still travel to fencing tournaments. Please send us an email at info at longislandfencersclub.com to coordinate your donation.
The following items of fencing equipment are welcome: Body Cords, Chest Protectors, Electrical Weapons, Fencing Bags, Fencing Machines, Fencing Reels, Floor Cords, Fencing Jackets, Knickers, Lames, Mask Cords, Masks, Practice Weapons, and/or Under arm Protectors.
Thank you for being so considerate and joining the Long Island Fencers Club’s Fencers’ Care Initiative.
Interested Donors may forward gifts via Venmo (@LongIslandFencersClub).
