he Long Island Fencers Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to inspiring physical fitness, sharpening mental acuity, and fostering meaningful social engagement through participation in Olympic Fencing. Our club serves athletes at the local, regional, national, international, and collegiate levels, providing a pathway for all to discover and excel in this dynamic sport.
Co-founded by Philip and Christina Daly in September 2022, the Long Island Fencers Club is recognized as a Premier Fencing Club with USA Fencing. We pride ourselves on offering a professional, educational environment that is free from bullying and judgment, enabling students to confidently explore and embrace the world of Olympic Fencing.
Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our club's philosophy. The Long Island Fencers Club is firmly dedicated to a strong equal opportunity program, welcoming all participants regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, or reprisal.
Our Executive Director and Head Fencing Coach, Philip J. Daly, brings over five decades of fencing expertise across all competitive levels. As a United States Air Force veteran, retired Suffolk County Police Department Detective, lifelong USA Fencing Coach, SafeSport certified instructor, and criminal background checked professional, Philip ensures a safe and enriching learning environment for all members.
The Long Island Fencers Club welcomes students of all skill levels to join our fencing classes and begin their journey into Olympic Fencing. We provide five distinct levels of instruction across the three Olympic fencing disciplines: Epee, Foil, and Sabre. Our programs cater to both recreational fencers and those interested in competing in tournaments at the club, local, regional, and national levels.
