Long Island Fencers Club, Nonprofit, Long Island Fencing Clubs, Long Island Fencing Institute

  The Long Island Fencers Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to inspiring physical fitness, sharpening mental acuity, and fostering meaningful social engagement through participation in Olympic Fencing. Our club serves athletes at the local, regional, national, international, and collegiate levels, providing a pathway for all to discover and excel in this dynamic sport.


Co-founded by Philip and Christina Daly in September 2022, the Long Island Fencers Club is recognized as a Premier Fencing Club with USA Fencing. We pride ourselves on offering a professional, educational environment that is free from bullying and judgment, enabling students to confidently explore and embrace the world of Olympic Fencing.


Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our club's philosophy. The Long Island Fencers Club is firmly dedicated to a strong equal opportunity program, welcoming all participants regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, or reprisal.


Our Executive Director and Head Fencing Coach, Philip J. Daly, brings over five decades of fencing expertise across all competitive levels. As a United States Air Force veteran, retired Suffolk County Police Department Detective, lifelong USA Fencing Coach, SafeSport certified instructor, and criminal background checked professional, Philip ensures a safe and enriching learning environment for all members.


The Long Island Fencers Club welcomes students of all skill levels to join our fencing classes and begin their journey into Olympic Fencing. We provide five distinct levels of instruction across the three Olympic fencing disciplines: Epee, Foil, and Sabre. Our programs cater to both recreational fencers and those interested in competing in tournaments at the club, local, regional, and national levels.

The Long Island Fencers' Club's history is intertwined with some of the greatest names in the fencing world, having developed Olympic-level athletes, national champions, and future stars in the sport. The club has consistently been a breeding ground for athletes who compete at the highest levels, including the United States Fencing National Championships, North American Cup events, and even the World Cup circuit. Many of its fencers have gone on to represent the United States in international competitions, making the Long Island Fencers' Club a respected name in the world of fencing.


Training and Coaching:

The Long Island Fencers' Club offers fencing instruction for all three Olympic weapons foil, epee, and sabre ensuring that fencers have access to expert coaching no matter which discipline they pursue. The club's coaching team is composed of experienced, highly trained professionals, many of whom have backgrounds as former competitive fencers themselves. Their experience and knowledge allow them to offer tailored training to fencers at every level, from beginners to advanced competitors.
